Although I began my career as a painter, for the past eight years I have been increasingly involved in research and

writing on Twentieth Century art and artists. My background in working for art dealers, artists, collectors and museums

has given me a wide range of experiences and connections to draw on. I am prepared to assist collectors, dealers,

auction houses and others with research, essays, biographies and high quality web content. My wife Linda is a professional

editor who collaborates with me to assure that my completed submissions are accurate and cohesive.

 

A few personal details: I am a father of three, and have been a Professor of Art and Art History at Mt. San

Jacinto College for the past twenty-two years. The writings on this site include my essays about art and artists as well as some

personal recollections.
