The fireworks flash and boom, then they are gone, leaving a gaping hallow where stillness was once enough. The mystery is great and tragic. We witness a sliver of this vast drama, and it's gone before we can grasp it, a neutrino ghost dance in the night. I held you briefly during the numinous show, as you whispered, “I'm right here, Dad … Everybody is always everywhere.”
